Privacy Policy

Stucco Wall Systems Ltd. (“we”, “us”) is a stucco and EIFS contractor based in Oakville, Ontario, serving the Greater Toronto Area. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through stuccowallsystems.ca. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

The short version: the only personal information we ask for is what you type into our quote form so we can call you back. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not run advertising pixels on this site.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the quote or contact form, we collect:

• Your name and phone number (required — we need them to reply);
• Your email address (optional);
• Your message — whatever you choose to tell us about the project (optional);
• The page you submitted from, so we know which service you were reading about.

Please do not send sensitive information (financial details, health information, government ID numbers) through the form — we never need it to quote a job.

Information collected automatically

• Google Analytics 4 (property G-1Q03R17P5Z) — sets cookies and records which pages you view, roughly where you are (derived from your IP address, which Google truncates), your device and browser type, and a few interactions such as clicking our phone number or submitting the form. This is statistical: we use it to see which pages help people, not to identify you.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — our spam check. It processes your IP address and browser signals to confirm you are a person and not a bot. It is not an advertising tracker.
• Web server logs — our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user-agent) for security and troubleshooting.
• Google Maps — the contact page embeds a Google map. If you load that page, Google may set its own cookies. Our address and phone number are also shown as plain text, so you never have to interact with the map.

This website has no user accounts, no online payments and no e-commerce. We do not run Meta/Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn or OpenAI advertising pixels here.

2. Why we use it

• To contact you, answer your question and prepare a written quote;
• To schedule and carry out work you hire us for, and keep normal business records of it;
• To keep the site secure and free of spam submissions;
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages and services people actually read.

We do not use your details for marketing email or newsletters, and we do not add you to any list. If we ever want to, we will ask you first.

3. How form submissions travel and where they are stored

When you press send, your details are emailed to our inbox at stucco@live.ca using Google’s mail servers. If that delivery ever fails, the submission is written to a protected log file on our web server instead, so an inquiry is never silently lost. Either way it is then handled by a person — there is no automated profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Who else can see your information

We share personal information only with the service providers that make this website work, and only as far as needed:

• Google — Analytics, Gmail (delivering the form email) and the embedded Map;
• Cloudflare — the Turnstile spam check;
• Our web hosting provider — which stores the site and its server logs.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside Canada, including the United States, where foreign courts and authorities may in some cases be able to compel access. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

• Quote inquiries: kept while we are in touch about your project. If it becomes a job, we keep the record for as long as our business and tax obligations require. If you never become a customer, we delete it on request — and otherwise we clear old inquiries periodically.
• Analytics: retained by Google under the retention period configured on the property (Google’s standard maximum for this data is 14 months).
• Server logs: rotated and overwritten by our host on their normal schedule.

6. Cookies and how to refuse them

The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics, from Cloudflare’s spam check, and from the Google map on the contact page. None of them are needed to read the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private/incognito browsing, or install Google’s official Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using any part of this site or from contacting us.

7. Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we have used it;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your inquiry from our records;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this will simply mean we stop contacting you).

Email stucco@live.ca or call (905) 973-6470. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Access to the inbox that receives inquiries is limited to Stucco Wall Systems staff and protected by a password and two-factor authentication. No system is perfect, but we keep what we collect to a minimum precisely so there is little to expose.

9. Children

This site is aimed at property owners and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we add a service that changes what we collect — online payments, booking, or advertising pixels — we will update this page and change the date below before turning it on.
