    Where the finish stops at the stoneEIFS needs clearance above grade and a clean edge to end on. A hard base at ground level also takes knocks that would dent foam.

    Below every windowWe read moisture through the system under sills first. Sealant around openings lasts 5–10 years; renewal is $6–$12 per linear ft.

Does a cracked EIFS wall have to come off?
Not usually. Cracks on one side or around a few openings are a repair at $450 to $2,500. A tear-off is for walls that sound hollow over large areas or have wet sheathing behind them.
Does the EIFS on this house go down to the ground?
No. The finish stops on top of the stone that covers the ground floor, so the foam stays clear of the grade.
Can you match the colour of my existing EIFS?
For a repair, yes: the patch is tinted and textured to the wall around it. If the finish has faded on the whole house, a patch will not blend, and restoring complete elevations is the better fix.
When can EIFS work be done in Mississauga?
Our EIFS season runs from April to November. Emergency sealing of a leak is done year-round.
